Hopefully you are noticing the resurgence of Nashville! The old town is taking on a new shape! A countywide bicycle and pedestrian plan is being put in place. As you read this, new bike lanes are being striped, traffic-calming features are being installed in our neighborhoods and new greenway trails are being built along our waterways. Parks are also becoming a more prominent part of our landscape. All in an effort to create more opportunities for Nashvillians to Get Active Now!

These improvements are all part of a renewed focus on quality of life and a multi-modal transportation system that offers citizens a practical, safe choice between walking, biking, transit or driving to and from various points throughout the city.
