Hopefully you are noticing the resurgence of Nashville! The old town is taking on a new shape! A countywide bicycle and pedestrian plan is being put in place. As you read this, new bike lanes are being striped, traffic-calming features are being installed in our neighborhoods and new greenway trails are being built along our waterways. Parks are also becoming a more prominent part of our landscape. All in an effort to create more opportunities for Nashvillians to Get Active Now!
These improvements are all part of a renewed focus on quality of life and a multi-modal transportation system that offers citizens a practical, safe choice between walking, biking, transit or driving to and from various points throughout the city.
Here, you can get informed about the active living opportunities available to Nashvillians so that we can all enjoy longer, healthier lives.
