Music City Moves! is a community partnership committed to building an active, healthy community for everyone. With proper community design, studies show that people are more likely to weave activities into their daily lives. We strive to promote these activities and design a community allowing them to flourish and grow.

bike mapUpdated map shows bikeways, greenways, and parks

The latest version of our bikeways & trails map includes bicycle lanes on city streets, greenways, current and planned trails, and all of Metro Nashville's major streets.

bike pictureNew video will promote bike safety

The Planning Department and the Renaissance Center's multimedia production department are cooperating on a short video outlining bicycle safety procedures which will start appearing on local websites and access channels in late November.  Funding for that project was provided by Music City Moves and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

Tennessee law requires drivers to give bicycle riders at least three feet of clearance on public streets.  Details are in our video public-service announcement.
